About the Composer: Bruce Preuninger

Bruce Preuninger brings three decades of classroom experience to his compositions. After earning his undergraduate degree in Music Education from Eastern Washington University and a Master of Arts in Administration and Curriculum from Gonzaga University, he spent 36 years teaching instrumental music in public schools, first in Bellevue, Washington, and later in the East Valley School District near Spokane.

Since 1999, his band compositions have been published by Alfred and have earned recognition on state and international contest and festival programs. His work reflects a deep understanding of what student musicians can achieve and what audiences want to hear.
