About the Composer: Carl Strommen
Carl Strommen has built an international reputation as a composer and arranger whose works span band, orchestra, jazz ensemble, and vocal literature. His music regularly appears in concert halls, broadcasts, and film scores, and he maintains an active schedule as both a clinician and commission composer. His consistent output has earned him annual recognition through the ASCAP Standard Writers Award.
Strommen holds a degree from City College of New York and currently teaches orchestration and composition as an adjunct faculty member at C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University in Brookville, New York. He maintains homes on Long Island and in the Colorado Front Range, where he spends significant time with his family.
