Partita on "Holy Manna"

The familiar hymn tune 'Holy Manna' is used as the basis for this five-movement work by the popular organ composer Franklin Ashdown. Each section in this partita is given a descriptive title to introduce the musical mood. The melody is prominent in each movement, and the concluding toccata is actually simpler to play than it appears. The various musical styles used throughout this work make it a wonderful selection for recitals or services.
