Donald Moore earned his Bachelor of Music in organ performance and Master of Arts in Teaching from Kent State University. He serves as Organist-Choirmaster at Pilgrim United Church of Christ in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and has established himself as a prolific creator across multiple musical genres and mediums.
With more than 500 compositions published through Alfred Music Publishing, Hal Leonard, Heritage Music Press, and other major houses, Moore's catalog spans sacred and secular choral works, educational pieces, organ and piano compositions, and instructional books. His music regularly appears at state contests and festivals, and he has been recognized as one of 400 significant figures in American choral music history by the American Choral Directors Association. A seventeen-time recipient of the ASCAP Composers Standard Award, Moore continues to be widely performed at regional, national, and international conventions.
