About the Composer: Ruth Morris Gray

Ruth Morris Gray has directed choirs at Rosemead High School since 2004, where she also teaches piano. Her compositional output spans over 100 published works for choir, rooted in formal training that includes a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and Composition from Biola University and a Master of Arts in Music Composition from UC Santa Barbara.

Gray's work reflects both her performance background and her classroom experience. Beyond composing and directing, she maintains an active musical life as a performer and continues to pursue teaching credentials in music education. She divides her time between her musical endeavors and personal passions including travel, swimming, reading, and cycling.
