Christine H. Barden shaped early childhood music education as a founding voice in the Music for Little Mozarts method. Her career spans decades of teaching, research, and curriculum development, including 17 years as a national staff member with Yamaha Music Education System, where she served as Director of Curriculum and National Chief Instructor. She studied piano performance at San Francisco State University under Vladimir Brenner and spent formative years in Europe and Japan deepening her pedagogical expertise.
Based in Reno, Nevada, Barden continues to teach private piano students and lead preschool music classes while presenting workshops for music educators at conferences across the United States and internationally. Her published compositions include several piano solos that have earned recognition from the National Federation of Music Clubs.
