• Play the instrumental versions during independent practice so students hear the parts without vocal guidance, building ear training and rhythmic independence.
• Assign language tracks as homework when you're working with non-English material; students can absorb pronunciation and phrasing at their own pace.
• Use the vocal versions in rehearsal to establish the target sound, then reference the instrumental tracks as your ensemble learns to carry the line on their own.

Start each unit by playing the lesson CDs in sequence so students encounter the material in the exact order it appears in their textbooks.
