Late elementary and early intermediate pianists ready to think beyond accuracy and into musicality. Students at this level often have solid technique but haven't yet developed the confidence to trust their ears and make deliberate expressive choices. This collection gives them permission and structure to do exactly that.

• Map the phrase contours before you practice slowly. Identify where each line peaks and where it relaxes; this visual awareness transfers directly to your pedaling and rubato choices.
• Record yourself playing through at performance tempo, then listen back without looking at the score. You'll hear exactly where the melody gets buried or where you've rushed the lyrical moments.
