About the Composer: Russell Robinson

Russell Robinson is an Emeritus Professor of Music Education at the University of Florida whose influence extends across six continents. Over his career, he has presented at festivals, workshops, and conferences worldwide while conducting in some of North America's most prestigious venues, including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Kennedy Center.

Robinson's creative output spans more than 500 published works covering choral compositions, arrangements, instructional materials, and scholarly articles. He served as Associate Dean of the UF College of the Arts, held the National Collegiate Chair for Choral Advisers at the National Association for Music Education, and was inducted into the Florida Music Educators Association Hall of Fame in 2016.
