Isorhythmic Concerto for Percussion Solo and Symphonic Wind Ensemble

Third-prize winner in this year's P.A.S. Composition Contest, Isorhythmic Concerto is scored for the three families of non-pitched percussion-wood, metal and skins. Using a reasonably compact setup, the piece is dramatic and virtuosic, displaying the skills, musicianship and timbral control of the multiple percussionist. An exciting cadenza climaxes the work, followed by a surprising diminuendo at the ending. This piece is a real stunner, excellent for concerto competitions and recitals.
