As Director of Educational Choral Publications for Shawnee Press, Gilpin shapes choral literature for school and collegiate ensembles nationwide.

Beyond the concert hall, Gilpin has expanded his creative practice into film scoring (earning Best Score honors for the short film "Rosie's Rescue" in 2021) and founded Maestro Organizing, a professional organizing business that has garnered television appearances on Fox and NBC.
