About the Composer: Jon Bubbett

Jon Bubbett brings nearly four decades of teaching experience to his work as a composer and clinician. After 26 years leading the band program at Thompson High School in Alabaster, Alabama, he earned six NBA Citations of Excellence and was named Phi Beta Mu Bandmaster of the Year in 2015. His impact extends beyond the classroom through guest clinician work across Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi, including presentations at the Midwest International Band and Orchestra Clinic.

As an active composer, Bubbett has published extensively through multiple publishers including Belwin, Make Music, RWS Music, and his own imprint. He remains engaged in the musical community as an adjudicator, conductor of the Celebration Winds Community Concert Band, and member of the National Band Association, Phi Beta Mu International Bandmasters Fraternity, and ASCAP. His deep roots in music education inform every piece he writes.
