His music reaches singers across the globe, and he regularly appears as guest conductor, adjudicator, and clinician in schools and honor choirs throughout the United States and internationally.

Beyond his prolific publishing work, Beck maintains an active performance life as a tenor, directing musical theatre and singing with the North Carolina Master Chorale Chamber Choir. He holds degrees from Ithaca College (Bachelor's in Music Education) and Northwest Missouri State University (Master's in Music Education), grounding his compositional voice in both artistry and pedagogical insight.
