About the Arranger: Jack Bullock

Jack Bullock brings decades of real-world experience to his arranging work. A trained trumpet performer who played with the Miami Philharmonic Orchestra and Miami Opera Company, as well as regional and touring ensembles, he understands the practical needs of both student musicians and professionals. He holds degrees in Music Education through the doctoral level and taught instrumental music in middle and high school classrooms for 20 years, including seven years as an assistant band director at Ithaca College's School of Music, where he also chaired the Music Education Department.

As a prolific composer and arranger, Bullock has created over 600 publications across concert band, orchestra, jazz ensemble, and marching band settings. He co-authored the Belwin 21st Century Band Method and contributed arrangements to Music Expressions, an innovative school music curriculum. His work has earned recognition through memberships in ASCAP (since 1980) and listings in Marquis Who's Who publications. He has led clinics and workshops across North America and internationally, bringing his classroom perspective to music educators everywhere.
