About the Arranger: Les Sabina
Les Sabina earned degrees from the University of Toronto, University of Windsor, University of Miami, and Michigan State University. He serves as professor of music and chair of the Department of Visual and Performing Arts at St. Bonaventure University in upstate New York.
As a saxophonist, Sabina has shared the stage with jazz luminaries including Dizzy Gillespie, Joe Williams, Della Reese, and Manhattan Transfer, while also performing regularly with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and BPO Jazz All-Stars. His contributions to jazz education include a long-running monthly transcription column in Jazz UK Journal.
