About the Arranger: Jack Bullock
Jack Bullock brings decades of practical experience to his work as a composer and arranger. A trumpet performer who worked with the Miami Philharmonic Orchestra and Miami Opera Company, he also performed with professional touring ensembles across the country. His dual expertise as both musician and educator informs every score he writes.
With doctoral training in music education and 20 years of classroom teaching behind him, Bullock has created over 600 published works across concert band, orchestra, jazz ensemble, and marching band contexts. He served as an assistant band director at Ithaca College's School of Music and chaired its Music Education Department. His contributions to music pedagogy include co-authoring the Belwin 21st Century Band Method and arranging for Music Expressions, Alfred Music's comprehensive school curriculum.
