About the Arranger: Jack Bullock

Jack Bullock has built a multifaceted career spanning performance, composition, arrangement, and teaching. As a trumpeter, he studied with several respected pedagogues and performed with the Miami Philharmonic Orchestra and Miami Opera Company, in addition to working with touring dance bands across the nation. He holds undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees in Music Education.

Bullock's publishing output exceeds 600 works across concert band, orchestra, jazz ensemble, and marching band. He co-authored the Belwin 21st Century Band Method and contributed arrangements to Music Expressions, Alfred Music's school curriculum. His 20 years of classroom teaching included seven years at Ithaca College as an assistant band director and four years as chair of the Music Education Department. He has conducted clinics throughout North America and Europe, and maintains ASCAP membership since 1980.
