Tyler S. Grant brings two decades of commissioning experience and prolific output to every score he writes. His works have claimed competition wins (including the Dallas Wind Symphony's 2014 Fanfare competition) and regular placement on national repertoire lists, performed by everything from school honor ensembles to professional orchestras at venues like Carnegie Hall and the Meyerson Symphony Center.
Beyond composing and arranging, Grant maintains an active conducting and clinician schedule, having worked with over 100 school programs across 15 states and guest-conducted all-state bands nationwide. He holds a degree in instrumental music education from the University of Alabama and has contributed educational materials to Alfred Music's Sound Innovations series. His mentor, composer Brian Balmages, shaped his approach to writing music that serves both musicians and audiences.
