About the Composer: Jon Bubbett

Jon Bubbett is a retired band director from Alabama who spent 26 of his 38 teaching years at Thompson High School in Alabaster. Throughout his career, he earned six NBA Citations of Excellence and was honored as Phi Beta Mu Rho Chapter's Bandmaster of the Year in 2015. His work as a clinician and adjudicator has taken him across Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi, and he has contributed to professional development at the Alabama Music Educators Association conference and the Midwest International Band and Orchestra Clinic.

Bubbett remains prolific as a composer and conductor, with publications through multiple publishers including Belwin and Make Music. He holds memberships in the National Association for Music Education, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, the National Band Association, and ASCAP. In addition to his publishing work, he conducts the Celebration Winds Community Concert Band.
