Ruth Morris Gray directs the choirs at Rosemead High School in Rosemead, California, where she has taught since 2004. She studied piano performance and composition at Biola University, then earned a master's degree in music composition from the University of California, Santa Barbara, followed by her California teaching credential from California State University, Northridge.

With over 100 published choral compositions to her name, Gray brings both compositional sophistication and classroom experience to her work. Beyond her roles as director, teacher, and composer, she is also an active performer and finds creative balance through travel, reading, swimming, and cycling.
