About the Arranger: Jack Bullock

Jack Bullock combines deep training in music education with extensive experience as both a performer and creative musician. A trumpet player who performed with regional orchestras and national touring ensembles, he earned undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees in Music Education and spent 20 years teaching instrumental music in schools, including seven years at Ithaca College's School of Music where he served as assistant band director and later chaired the Music Education Department.

As an arranger and composer, Bullock has created over 600 works across concert band, orchestra, jazz ensemble, and marching band. His collaborative efforts include co-authoring the Belwin 21st Century Band Method and contributing arrangements for Music Expressions, Alfred Music's comprehensive school music curriculum. A member of ASCAP since 1980, he has conducted clinics and workshops throughout the United States, Canada, and England.
