This transcription for mallet percussion of the second movement of Debussy's famous string quartet makes excellent use of his compositional techniques, such as pizzicato articulations and rapid sixteenth-note passages, along with the composer's brilliant blend of modal combinations with more standard harmonic progressions. Instrumentation: xylophone, vibraphone, marimba I, and marimba II.
