About the Arranger: Earl J. Fox, Jr

Earl J. Fox, Jr. earned degrees in music education from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Ph.D. in music from Louisiana State University. He spent two decades directing bands in the Orleans Parish School System, including tenures at Capdau Junior High and Abramson Senior High School, before moving to Holy Cross School in New Orleans. His work as a guest clinician and festival adjudicator has taken him across the United States and internationally.

Based in Picayune, Mississippi, where he currently teaches at South Side Elementary School, Fox has built a reputation as both an educator and a prolific arranger. His compositions and arrangements have been published and performed by ensembles across multiple states and internationally, including commissions for Marching Band Sampoerna in Jakarta, Indonesia. He holds National Board Certification and maintains membership in ASCAP, Kappa Kappa Psi, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.
