About the Composer: Bob Cerulli

Bob Cerulli's career spans performance, composition, and education across multiple orchestral contexts. After studying double bass at Curtis Institute under Roger Scott, he earned degrees in music education and conducting, then performed as principal bassist with several regional orchestras while freelancing extensively in Philadelphia and Atlantic City. He recorded alongside major film composers and pop artists, and The Philadelphia Orchestra has performed his work Celebration.

Cerulli spent 29 years teaching in public schools before moving to higher education, where he currently serves as Senior Adjunct Professor at Rowan College at Burlington County. His compositions reflect his dual expertise as both an accomplished orchestral musician and an educator who understands what works in the rehearsal room.
