About the Composer: Rossano Galante

Rossano Galante studied trumpet performance at SUNY Buffalo, earning his Bachelor of Arts in 1992. That same year, he was selected as one of nineteen international students accepted to the University of Southern California's Film Scoring Program, where he trained under the late Jerry Goldsmith, Academy Award winner for The Omen.

Since relocating to California in 1999, Galante has established himself as a composer and orchestrator. He has collaborated with Oscar-nominated composers Marco Beltrami, Christophe Beck, Brian Tyler, and Christopher Lennertz, serving as orchestrator on over eighty feature films including Avengers: Age of Ultron, Logan, A Quiet Place, and The Super Mario Brothers Movie. Beyond film work, Galante receives commissions from orchestras and concert bands worldwide and has over 68 published compositions across major publishers including Alfred, Schirmer, and Hafabra.
