About the Arranger: Vince Gassi
Vince Gassi has shaped concert band repertoire since earning his Bachelor of Music from the University of Western Ontario. He studied composition and arranging at the Dick Grove School of Music in Los Angeles, then later completed a Ph.D. at York University in Toronto, bringing both creative training and rigorous academic grounding to his arrangements.
Over 25 years in the classroom at elementary and secondary levels, Gassi developed a reputation for writing music that engages young musicians without sacrificing musical substance. His catalog now exceeds 100 published works, many appearing on contest and festival programs internationally. He remains active as a guest conductor, clinician, and workshop leader throughout North America, known especially for seminars on student composition and digital strategies for music directors.
