About the Composer: Rossano Galante
Rossano Galante grew up in Buffalo, New York, and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Trumpet Performance from SUNY Buffalo in 1992. That year, he was selected as one of nineteen international applicants to the University of Southern California's prestigious Film Scoring Program, where he studied under Jerry Goldsmith, the Oscar-winning composer of The Omen. Since relocating to California in 1999, Galante has established himself as a composer and orchestrator, collaborating with Oscar-nominated composers Marco Beltrami, Christophe Beck, Brian Tyler, and Christopher Lennertz.
Galante has served as orchestrator on over eighty studio films, including Abigail, The Super Mario Brothers Movie, Fast X, A Quiet Place Part II, Logan, Prisoners, and Avengers: Age of Ultron. His output extends well beyond Hollywood; he regularly receives commissions for concert band and orchestra works and has published more than 68 compositions through major music publishers including Alfred, Schirmer, Hafabra, C.L. Barnhouse, Musikverlag Frank, and Dehaske/Curnow.
