Andy Beck directs choral publications at Alfred Music and has composed and arranged over 450 choral works performed by singers across the globe. His versatility spans concert literature, vocal pedagogy resources (including Sing at First Sight and Vocalize! 45 Vocal Warm-Ups That Teach Technique), and children's musicals, all currently in active use in schools and festivals worldwide.
Beyond the page, Beck is a sought-after guest conductor, adjudicator, and clinician who has worked with honor choirs and all-state ensembles throughout the Southeast. A trained tenor with degrees from Ithaca College and Northwest Missouri State University, he performs regularly with the North Carolina Master Chorale Chamber Choir and directs musical theatre. His work as both a composer and educator reflects a deep commitment to choral artistry and music literacy.
