About the Composer: Joel Spineti
Joel Spineti brings 17 years of classroom experience across elementary, middle school, and high school settings to his compositional work. He holds degrees in music and education from Central Connecticut State University, where he studied composition with Dr. Phil Traegor, and later deepened his jazz training in New York City under pianist Hal Galper.
Spineti's creative output spans concert band, jazz band, choir, and musical theater. He has music directed theatrical productions across 40 states before settling in southern Connecticut, where he currently directs the jazz and concert bands at Haddam-Killingworth Middle School.
