12-Bar Tunesmith is a fun program designed to help the young compose and play simple melodies. The eight pitches used are based on the C Major scale. The user can choose from four different pitch durations and hear his other tunes played at varying tempos. Iconic notation is utilized on a graphic screen to help the user understand the concepts of pitch and duration.
