Composer & Author Spotlight

Martha Mier is an internationally recognized composer whose educational piano music reaches students across all levels. Her work includes the popular Jazz, Rags & Blues and Romantic Impressions series, and her score Amazing Grace demonstrates her gift for making well-known hymns accessible and musically engaging.

Carol Tornquist began playing piano by ear at age four in northwestern Pennsylvania and studied at the Warren Conservatory before earning her degree in music education from SUNY Fredonia. Her Top 50 Praise & Worship has become a standard resource for contemporary worship repertoire, drawing on her experience teaching voice and working with Yamaha Music School.

Jim Brickman, the best-selling solo pianist of our time, brings his distinctive style to sacred material through Jim Brickman: Faith and Songs of Inspiration. His approach to musical storytelling shapes both his original compositions and arrangements, making his work a natural fit for pianists looking to blend contemporary sensibility with spiritual content.
