Accent on Achievement

Mark Williams was a prolific composer for school bands with over 200 published works and served as co-author of the Accent on Achievement method itself. He spent his career teaching elementary band in Washington state and brought that classroom experience directly into the design of these books, traveling extensively as a clinician across the United States, Canada, and Australia.

John O'Reilly created the bulk of the method books across all beginning instruments, establishing the pedagogical arc and musical content that make the series work at the foundational level.
