About the Composer: Tyler S. Grant

Tyler S. Grant brings a distinctive voice to the concert band repertoire, earning recognition from ensembles at every level. His works appear regularly on state and all-state honor band programs and have been selected for national repertoire lists. His composition Panoramic Fanfare won the Dallas Wind Symphony's 2014 "Call for Fanfares" Competition and has since received performances by collegiate and professional ensembles across North America.

Since 2010, Grant has maintained a steady output of commissions and new publications while balancing an active conducting and clinician schedule. He has worked with over 100 school instrumental music programs across more than 15 states and conducted all-state bands in Nebraska, Oregon, Alabama, Louisiana, South Dakota, and North Dakota. His education at the University of Alabama, where he studied conducting with Professor Randall Coleman, laid the foundation for his multifaceted career as composer, arranger, and educator.
