Whispers of Avalon, by Everett C. Davis, transports us to Avalon, the legendary island of magic and mystery. Said to be shrouded in mist, it is the resting place of King Arthur after his final battle. Mortally wounded, Arthur is carried to Avalon, where it is believed he will one day rise again. The sorceress Morgan le Fay, his half-sister and a powerful enchantress, dwells there, guiding the island's magic. Here, she works to heal the fallen king. Everett C. Davis

Everett C. Davis began composing and performing music as a child in a small town near Portland, Oregon, where early attempts at writing for various instruments sparked a lifelong passion. He studied French horn, voice, and conducting at the University of Oregon, where he served as assistant conductor for the Campus Orchestra and Horn Ensemble while performing in bands, orchestras, and choral ensembles.

Davis currently teaches band and choir at Oaklea Middle School and maintains an active performance life as a vocalist with the Eugene Symphony Orchestra Chorus and French horn player with the Eugene Symphonic Band. He holds a second-degree black belt in Taekwondo and is pursuing a Master of Music Education at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, beginning in fall 2025.
