About the Composer: Jon Bubbett
Jon Bubbett spent 38 years in music education, with 26 of those years directing the Thompson High School band in Alabaster, AL. His contributions to the field earned him six NBA Citations of Excellence and the Phi Beta Mu Rho Chapter 2015 "Bandmaster of the Year" Award.
Since retiring from full-time teaching, Bubbett has remained deeply involved in music education as a clinician, composer, and adjudicator across Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi. His compositions are published through multiple houses including Belwin, Wingert-Jones, and Excelcia Music Publishing. He currently conducts the Celebration Winds Community Concert Band and maintains active memberships in the National Association for Music Education, National Band Association, and several music fraternal organizations.
