Description

Rebecca Saunders' Void II for Percussion Duo is a 21-minute work for two percussionists with a variety of instruments. The composer writes about her work: "Beneath the surface of silence there lies a cacophony of sound and noise, an endless potential that becomes audible.'' Void II was commissioned by the Berliner Festspiele and premiered by Dirk Rothbrust and Christian Dierstein at the Berlin Philharmonie on 7 September 2020.

This new edition (EP 14543) is the performing score of the work.
