About the Arranger: Jack Bullock

Jack Bullock's career spans performance, composition, arrangement, and music education. As a trumpet performer, he worked with the Miami Philharmonic Orchestra and Miami Opera Company, in addition to performing regionally and nationally with various ensembles. He holds undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees in music education.

Bullock's output as a composer and arranger is substantial: more than 600 published works across concert band, orchestra, jazz ensemble, and marching band. He spent 20 years teaching instrumental music in K-12 settings, including seven years as an assistant band director at the Ithaca College School of Music and a four-year tenure as chair of the Music Education Department. He co-authored the Belwin 21st Century Band Method and has been a member of ASCAP since 1980. His contributions to music education through workshops and clinics have reached educators throughout North America and internationally.
