Chris Sharp

Chris Sharp holds a doctorate and has built a career spanning performance, composition, and education. As a trombonist, he spent eleven years as a performing musician and band leader at Walt Disney World, while simultaneously serving as arranger and orchestrator for Disney parks worldwide since 1984, crafting music for live shows, recordings, and national broadcasts.

Beyond the theme parks, Sharp has composed and arranged for clients including Universal Studios, the Boston Pops, the Dallas Brass, and the USAF Airmen of Note. He teaches at Polk State College as Director of Bands and instructor of theory, technology, and arranging. His work appears regularly at the Midwest Clinic, and he has received multiple ASCAP Plus awards for his concert and jazz band compositions.
