About the Composer: Bob Cerulli

Bob Cerulli studied double bass at the Curtis Institute of Music under Roger Scott, then completed degrees in music education at the University of the Arts and conducting at the College of New Jersey. His performance career spans orchestral leadership roles with the Buffalo Philharmonic, the Greater Trenton Symphony, and the New Jersey Capital Philharmonic, alongside freelance work in Philadelphia and Atlantic City with Broadway performers and composers including Henry Mancini, Bill Conte, and Michel LeGrand.

Cerulli's compositions have been performed by regional orchestras and soloists, including Romance in D Major, written for Philadelphia Orchestra Principal Cellist William Stokking. After 29 years teaching music in public schools, he became a Senior Adjunct Professor at Rowan College at Burlington County, where he has conducted orchestral reading sessions and performances at regional festivals.
