Jack Bullock

Jack Bullock earned three degrees in music education and built a dual career as both a performer and composer-arranger. He performed trumpet professionally with the Miami Philharmonic Orchestra and Miami Opera Company, as well as with touring dance bands across the country, before turning his primary focus to composition and education.

With over 600 published works across concert band, orchestra, jazz ensemble, and marching band, Bullock has shaped school music curricula and trained the next generation of musicians. He taught instrumental music in public schools for 20 years, served as an assistant band director at Ithaca College's School of Music, and chaired the Music Education Department there for four years. His arrangements and compositions appear in major educational music programs, and he has led clinics and workshops across the United States, Canada, and England since the 1980s.
