Greg Gilpin

Greg Gilpin is an ASCAP award-winning composer and arranger whose conducting has taken him to some of the world's most prestigious venues, from Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in New York to the Sydney Opera House, Royal Festival Hall in London, and Harpa Concert Hall in Reykjavik. As Director of Educational Choral Publications for Shawnee Press, he shapes the landscape of accessible, engaging repertoire for student choirs across the country.

Beyond the concert hall, Gilpin has established himself as a film composer, producer, and recording industry musician. His work earned "Best Score" recognition for the award-winning short film "Rosie's Rescue," and he recently premiered a fresh arrangement of "What Child is This?" with opera singer Angela Brown and the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir. A Life Loyal Member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia and active in ACDA and NAfME, Gilpin continues teaching, composing, and conducting as the music world flourishes.
