Brand new sparkling arrangements of three old-time favorite tunes. Geoff Haydon and Jim Lyke conjure up visions of the '20s, a glorious time for pianists and piano music. The appeal for that era is cross-generational: at the premiere performance of these works, college kids in the audience cheered and whistled! Stylistically appropriate and musically rewarding, this is a worthy collection. There are technical demands for playing at a good tempo but not beyond the abilities of strong late-intermediate level pianists. What a treat!
