Douglas E. Wagner studied music at Butler University and spent three decades as a high school music director and administrator before committing fully to composition and arranging. Since 1973, he has created over 3,500 works spanning concert band, choir, orchestra, handbell ensemble, organ, piano, and vocal music, with his compositions performed in concert halls and broadcast internationally across radio and television.
Wagner's prolific output has resulted in more than seventeen million copies of his music in circulation worldwide. He currently resides in Indianapolis, Indiana.
