About the Composer: Tim Hayden
Tim Hayden's career spans three decades of music direction, performance, and composition centered in Nashville and beyond. A 1975 Reitz High School graduate from Evansville, Indiana, he founded Ned's Place Recording, a publishing company and studio that has produced tracks for major venues including Opryland Hotel, multiple cruise lines, and Lee Greenwood's Theater in Pigeon Forge. His directorial work includes Bye Bye Love (The Everly Brothers Musical), Forever, Patsy Cline, Cotton Patch Gospel, and a Nashville production of A Christmas Carol at the Ryman Auditorium.
Hayden has performed alongside artists including Ricky Van Shelton, Earl Thomas Conley, and Jim Ed Brown on the Grand Ole Opry, with television appearances on Grand Ole Opry Live and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. His songwriting credits include "Alleluia, Alleluia (Peace to All Men)," recorded by a major-label artist on a Christmas release in 2006. He currently serves as choir director and music minister at LaVergne First United Methodist Church.
