Jill Gallina

Jill Gallina stands among the most performed composers of educational choral music in America. Her work spans elementary through high school choirs, and her compositions have earned recognition from the Parents Choice Foundation, American Library Service, and ASCAP. Her music has appeared on The Disney Channel, PBS, The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and performances by The New York Philharmonic and Boston Pops, while also reaching international audiences through United Nations programming.

Gallina holds a B.A. in music from the College of New Jersey and spent years as an elementary school music teacher before transitioning to full-time composition work. She and her collaborator Michael Gallina have created musical plays and choral works that circulate in thousands of performances annually across English-speaking countries. The Gallinas received the Stanley Austin Alumni Award from the College of New Jersey in recognition of their sustained contributions to composition and music education.
