Douglas E. Wagner

Douglas E. Wagner grew up in Chicago and earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees in music from Butler University. He spent three decades as a high school music educator and administrator before transitioning fully to composition and arrangement work.

Since 1973, Wagner has published more than 3,500 compositions and arrangements across virtually every ensemble type: choirs, bands, orchestras, handbells, organ, piano, and voice. His works have circulated to the tune of over seventeen million copies worldwide, appearing regularly in concert halls, on television, and through radio broadcasts across the United States and internationally. He lives in Indianapolis with his wife, Sandy.
