Andy Beck

Andy Beck directs choral publications at Alfred Music and has composed and arranged more than 450 works for singers across all ages. His catalog spans popular choral repertoire, vocal resources, and children's musicals, alongside his well-known instructional titles Sing at First Sight, Foundations in Choral Sight Singing, and Vocalize! 45 Vocal Warm-Ups That Teach Technique. A trained tenor with degrees in Music Education from Ithaca College and Northwest Missouri State University, Beck remains active as a guest conductor, clinician, and adjudicator throughout the United States and internationally.

Beyond his publishing role, Beck performs regularly with the North Carolina Master Chorale Chamber Choir and has been a studio singer for Alfred Music since 1992. His commissions include honor choirs and all-state groups across the Southeast, and his works are performed by choirs worldwide. His dual commitment to choral artistry and music literacy shapes every publication he develops for the Alfred catalog.
