Patti Drennan

Patti Drennan holds degrees in music education from Oklahoma State University and the University of Oklahoma. She spent 28 years directing choral programs in Norman Public Schools, earning Teacher of the Year recognition at West Mid-High School and building four superior-rated choirs at Norman High School. In 2004, the Oklahoma Choral Directors Association honored her with the Director of Distinction Award.

As a prolific composer and arranger, Drennan has over 425 choral octavos published by major houses, with sales exceeding two million copies. She has worked as a clinician across 19 states, Canada, and multiple state music educator conventions, while serving as composer-in-residence at church workshops nationwide. She directed music and worship arts at First Baptist Church, Norman for nearly a decade and continues composing, leading music reading sessions, and hosting composer weekends throughout the United States and Canada.
