About the Composer: Rossano Galante

Rossano Galante began his musical training as a trumpet performer, earning his Bachelor of Arts from SUNY Buffalo in 1992. That same year, he was selected as one of nineteen applicants worldwide to study film scoring at the University of Southern California under the mentorship of Jerry Goldsmith, the Academy Award-winning composer of The Omen.

Since relocating to California in 1999, Galante has built a prolific career as a composer and orchestrator, collaborating with Oscar-nominated film composers including Marco Beltrami, Christophe Beck, Brian Tyler, and Christopher Lennertz. He has orchestrated over eighty studio films across major franchises and independent productions. Beyond his film work, Galante maintains an active presence in concert music, with over 68 published compositions for concert band and orchestra appearing through Alfred, Schirmer, Hafabra, C.L. Barnhouse, Musikverlag Frank, and Dehaske/Curnow.
