About the Composer: Rossano Galante
Rossano Galante studied trumpet performance at SUNY Buffalo, earning his degree in 1992. That same year, he was one of nineteen international applicants accepted to the University of Southern California's Film Scoring Program, where he studied under Jerry Goldsmith, the Academy Award-winning composer of The Omen.
Galante relocated to California in 1999 to establish himself as a composer and film orchestrator. His work as orchestrator spans more than eighty studio films, including collaborations with two-time Oscar-nominated composer Marco Beltrami and other industry leaders. He has orchestrated scores for major releases such as the Super Mario Brothers Movie, Fast X, A Quiet Place 1 and 2, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and many others. Beyond film, Galante receives regular commissions for concert band and orchestra compositions and has published more than 68 works through Alfred, Schirmer, Hafabra, C.L. Barnhouse, Musikverlag Frank, and Dehaske/Curnow.
